Warranty

Upgrade offers a 12-month warranty program with the purchase of a refurbished phone to ensure a safe and smooth experience for its customers while using their devices.

The warranty covers technical malfunctions that devices may encounter, giving customers peace of mind and confidence in the quality of refurbished phones.

Main Terms and Conditions of the Communications Device Warranty Certificate:

  • Duration of Refurbished Device Warranty: One year from the purchase date, as listed on the tax invoice. The original invoice must be provided in all cases.

  • During refurbishment, certain parts (screen, battery, etc.) may be replaced, or the software may be updated.

Replacement Policy:

  • The customer has the right to replace the mobile device (free of charge) or return it for a refund as listed on the purchase invoice, without any defect or need to provide a reason, and without incurring any expenses, within 14 days from the purchase date, provided that the device is in its original condition, including packaging.

  • In the event of a defect in the device that affects its performance (excluding software issues related to the operating system or installed applications) or if the device does not meet the specifications provided by Upgrade, the customer has the right to exchange the device for another refurbished device with all its components (free of charge) within 30 days from the purchase date.

Maintenance Terms and Conditions for Mobile Phones During the Warranty Period:

  • If a spare part is replaced during the warranty period, the warranty period for the replaced part is 3 months from the repair completion date or until the warranty period ends, whichever is longer.

  • If the customer's misuse of the device is confirmed during the warranty period, the damaged part will be replaced at the customer’s expense, and the remaining warranty period for the device will continue. The warranty period for the replaced part is 6 months from the repair completion date or until the warranty period ends, whichever is longer.

  • The customer must retain the original tax invoice and warranty certificate throughout the warranty period.

The warranty does not cover damages resulting from the following cases:

    • Water Damage: Subjecting the device to any form of misuse, such as moisture, excessive humidity, or liquids, even if the manufacturers advertise water resistance as a primary feature.
